Blue Margarita
This week I was already planning on cheers-ing a margarita to my husband for Father’s Day, but now some CHEERS go out to my sister and her husband too. That means I get to drink two blue margarita’s right??
Ingredients
- 4 shots tequila, blanco
- 3 shots blue curacao
- 3 shots simple syrup
- 3 shots lime juice
- ice (to fill each glass)
- salt, for the rim (optional)
- lime wedges (optional)
Instructions
- To prepare, fill each glass to the top with ice.
- Add the tequila, blue curacao, simple syrup and lime juice into a cocktail shaker. Shake well.
- Pour into your glasses and enjoy!
Recipe Notes
*To rim your margarita glasses: use a wedge of lime and rub it around the rim of the margarita glasses. Then, dip your glasses into the margarita salt and rotate it around a bit to get the salt to stick well.
